Back in 2019, Toyota reintroduced the GR Supra, a sports car that became the flagship for Gazoo Racing. Now, the automaker is celebrating the car with the 2026 GR Supra MkV Final Edition.
The MkV Final Edition features unique touches built to enhance driving, such as large Brembo brake discs. The sports car also has differential control and exclusive control maps to improve traction.
Toyota also modified the suspension and chassis to enhance stability. The automaker revised the camber angle to improve stability in the corners. The MkV Final Edition also has electronically-controlled shock absorbers.
To improve aerodynamics, Toyota added a ducktail carbon fiber rear spoiler, front wheel arch flaps, and higher front tire spats.
Power comes from the in-line six-cylinder turbocharged engine. It delivers 382 horsepower and 368 lb.-ft. of torque. Purchasers of the GR Supra have the option of an 8-speed automatic transmission or a manual transmission. The automatic delivers a zero to 60 mph time of 3.9 seconds. The manual pushes that number to 4.2 seconds.
Like every vehicle bearing the GR badge, the MkV Final Edition underwent extensive testing. Toyota engineers spent countless hours on the track with the sports car. Akio Toyoda, Toyota’s Master Driver, also spent time behind the wheel as part of the rigorous testing process.
According to Toyota, this MkV Final Edition will headline a lineup also featuring the GR Supra 3.0 and 3.0 Premium grades. All three sports cars will arrive in dealerships in the spring of 2025. Production of the fifth-generation GR Supra will end in the spring of 2026.
All three GR Supra grades feature updated cockpits

The MkV Final Edition headlines the GR Supra lineup, but all three grades feature updates for the 2026 model year.
According to Toyota, they all feature an 8.8-inch touchscreen with a rotary touch controller. The 3.0 and 3.0 Premium grades both come standard with heated seats.
All three grades have Wireless Qi charging as a standard option. Although Wireless Qi charging on the base 3.0 grade is only standard with the manual transmission.
The base 3.0 features black soft-touch Alcantara and leather-trimmed sport seats with power adjustment. The 3.0 Premium grade has two options for the power adjustable seats. One option is black and leather-trimmed. The other has hazelnut-colored leather trim.
The GR Supra MkV Final Edition takes the cockpit to another level while drawing inspiration from the GR badge. The leather-trimmed seats feature an embroidered GR logo. The interior also features red stitching, red highlights around the gear shift knob, and red seatbelts.
