Kia America has unveiled the pricing structure for its newest four-door compact sedan, the K4.
The K4, which replaces the Forte, will feature five trim levels, starting with the K4 LX. The LX begins at $21,990. This does not include the $1,155 destination. The top-of-the-line K4 GT-Line Turbo starts at $28,090.
Full trim levels:
- K4 LX – $21,990
- K4 LXS – $22,990
- K4 EX – $23,990
- K4 GT-Line – $25,190
- K4 GT-Line Turbo – $28,090
The K4 line features two powertrain options. The first is the standard 2.0-liter engine with 147 horsepower and 132 lb.-ft. of torque. This engine pairs with an intelligently variable transmission.
The optional powertrain is the 1.6-liter, turbocharged engine with 190 horsepower and 195 lb.-ft. of torque. This pairs with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The GT-Line and above include a standard multi-link rear suspension, which Kia designed to add a sportier feel to the compact sedan.
All models of the K4 come standard with wireless Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay. The compact sedan also features Kia Connect, a system drivers can use to adjust climate control or audio. They can access this system by saying “Hey Kia.”
The K4 GT-Line and above come standard with heated seats. Ventilated seats and driver’s seat memory functions are optional add-ons.

Kia also added generative AI to the system to provide information about stocks, sports, and other topics. The AI system will respond to the person’s follow-up questions in a “conversational” manner.
One of the biggest — literally — features of the compact K4 is the addition of a revised digital display. This system is nearly 30 inches and it provides key information about the car. 12.3 inches is the instrument display, five inches is the climate display, and 12.3 inches is the touchscreen infotainment display
Kia America stated that the new K4 will begin arriving at dealerships beginning in September 2024. The K4 GT-Line will arrive at dealerships in November 2024. Kia expects the K4 GT-Line Turbo to arrive in showrooms in early 2025.
“The all-new K4 advances Kia’s commitment to deliver sporty sedans with advanced technology and elevated performance,” said Steven Center, COO and EVP of Kia America, in a statement.
“Succeeding in the compact segment means overdelivering on the features that customers want, and the K4 is designed to exceed expectations.”
