Volkswagen has unveiled the trim levels of the ID.Buzz.

Volkswagen’s newest all-electric microbus, the ID.Buzz, will feature two trim levels, as well as a first edition, when it arrives in the United States later this year.

According to an announcement obtained by Car and Driver, the entry-level ID.Buzz will be the Pro S. This rear-wheel drive van will feature 20-inch wheels, interior lighting with 30 selectable colors, a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, and a second bench seat to accommodate up to seven passengers.

A 91-kilowatt-hour battery will power the 282-horsepower motor on the rear axle of the Pro S. Volkswagen will release range estimates closer to the launch of the ID.Buzz.

The second trim level is the Pro S Plus, which can be either rear- or all-wheel drive. The AWD model requires second-row captain’s chairs instead of a bench seat. This reduces the capacity to six passengers.

The all-wheel drive model of the ID.Buzz will feature the same 91-kilowatt-hour battery. This battery will power a dual-motor setup that increases output to 335 horsepower.

The Pro S Plus includes a manually retractable trailer hitch, a 360-degree camera system, a head-up display, and a 700-watt Harman Kardon stereo system. Additionally, the Pro S Plus includes an optional electrochromic panoramic sunroof with clear and opaque settings.

The third trim level is limited to the launch of the ID.Buzz

The Dune interior includes light gray upholstery.

According to the announcement, there will be a First Edition of the ID.Buzz only available at launch. This limited-edition microbus includes all of the standard equipment from the Pro S Plus, as well as the electrochromic panoramic sunroof.

The First Edition also includes unique, 20-inch wheels, special badging, and roof-mounted crossbars.

While the Pro S and the Pro S Plus will have multiple paint and interior options, the First Edition will have a limit. This launch edition microbus can only have two-tone paint. The interior must have the Dune option featuring light gray upholstery, clay accents, and a wood-style trim.

Volkswagen has not announced pricing or an exact release date for the ID.Buzz. The company will provide this information as the launch approaches.
