Car collectors have another trophy to chase. An ultra-rare Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake has landed on auction site Bring a Trailer.
What is the Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake? It’s a sports wagon created as part of a collaboration between Aston Martin and Zagato. The two companies began working together in 2016 and created four body styles using the Vanquish as a foundation.
The Zagato Shooting Brake was the last body style revealed. The companies produced only 99 models, 11 of which reportedly made it to the United States.
The 2019 model available on Bring a Trailer is No. 26 of 99. It features a 580-horsepower 5.9-liter AM29 V12 engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Zagato Shooting Brake has a mere 3,500 miles on the odometer.
The interior features numerous touches built for the driver. One highlight is the Bang & Olufsen BeoSound sound system. The Zagato Shooting Brake also has an infotainment system with a pop-up screen and navigation.
The front features two-tone seats with Pure Black and Sahara Tan Bridge of Weir leather. These seats are heated and ventilated, and they feature Z-pattern stitching.
The rare Aston Martin is a two-seater. The rear of the Zagato Shooting Brake has a carbon fiber rear cargo floor.
The Zagato Shooting Brake previously appeared on Bring a Trailer

The current auction on Bring a Trailer is not the first appearance of the Aston Martin sports wagon. It previously sold for $468,000 on June 27, 2024, after a Massachusetts dealer put it on offer.
This auction total was a significant decrease from the suggested retail price of $877,916.
The person who won the 2024 auction secured a Zagato Shooting Brake with only 3,300 miles on the odometer. They only added 200 more miles before putting the collector car back on Bring a Trailer.
According to the listing, the sports wagon has a clean Montana title. It previously sold with a clean Florida title in 2024. The Carfax report is free of accidents or any other damage.
