Ram has unveiled the newest entry in the TRX, a pickup that it calls the most powerful production street legal half-ton vehicle in the world.
According to a Jan. 1 announcement, the new TRX is the first production vehicle from the relaunched SRT Performance Division. This pickup boasts a 6.2-liter supercharged Hemi V8 delivering 777 horsepower and 680 lb.-ft. of torque.
This engine helps the TRX go from 0-60 mph in a mere 3.5 seconds. It then reaches 118 mph. Ram paired this engine with a high-torque-capacity TorqueFlite eight-speed automatic transmission and full-time active transfer case. The transfer case also includes a 2.64:1 low range for off-road crawling.
Ram focused on off-road adventures with numerous other exterior components. This includes the 35-inch tires, independent front suspension, and 13 inches of front suspension travel. The rear of the truck features a Dana 60 rear axle with full floating axle shafts and a rear electronic locking differential. According to Ram, the rear of the TRX has 14 inches of travel.
The TRX features the Ram Active Terrain Dynamics suspension management system that adjusts to stability control behavior and traction based on the different conditions. Ram says this system also adjusts the shocks in mid-air for a “composed landing” when hitting jumps.
“We started 2025 with a simple rallying cry — three words and three letters: The Last Tenth and LFG. Our first moves were clear: revive the legendary HEMI V-8 and reignite the SRT Performance Division. So, would anyone really bet against TRX making a comeback?” said Tim Kuniskis, Head of American Brands, SRT Performance, and NA Marketing and Retail Strategy.
“But bringing back the nameplate isn’t enough. Ram set the bar five years ago with 702 horsepower, and that benchmark has been challenged. SRT doesn’t limbo; we high-jump—and 721 wasn’t going to cut it. 777 horsepower? That’s the mark. And it represents more than power—it signals an awakening and a new path forward.”
The Ram TRX features a special Bloodshot Night Edition

The 2024 model year marked the last time Ram released the TRX. Now that the monster is returning, the automaker is celebrating with a special edition trim level.
The Bloodshot Night Edition boasts numerous special touches for consumers. This includes a Diamond Black Crystal Pearl Coat on the upper part of the exterior and a Flame Red center stripe. The TRX also features a bodyside splash graphic running down the sides.
The color touches also include the glass-encased center console badge and red anodized thread in the seats. The TRX also includes Satin Black wheels with Satin Titanium beadlock rings.

While the TRX focuses on performance at high speeds and in off-road conditions, that doesn’t mean that Ram chose to give up the luxury touches.
The 12-way power black premium Natura Plus leather front seats feature built-in memory, massage, heating, and ventilation. Ram also added a leather-wrapped airbag cover with red stitching, a full suede headliner, and suede-wrapped visors to the interior of the TRX. This marks the first time that the TRX boasts these touches.
The interior features continue with carbon fiber trim and a 900-watt Harman Kardon audio system boasting 19 speakers and a 10-inch subwoofer.
The 2027 Ram TRX arrives in the second half of 2026. It has a starting MSRP of $99,995, which does not include the $2,595 destination fee.
