Mazda has announced the pricing and packages for the 2025 Mazda 3 lineup, with some models including Amazon Alexa.

According to a press release, there are seven trim levels in the Mazda 3 hatchback lineup and six in the sedan lineup. The 2.5 S Premium is available in hatchback only as the only model with the Skyactiv-MT six-speed manual transmission.

The base price for the Mazda 3 2.5 S hatchback is $24,950, plus $1,185 for destination and additional fees. According to Car and Driver, this is $740 cheaper than last year’s base model. The 2.5 S sedan starts at $23,950, plus $1,185 for destination and additional fees.

The 2.5 S models feature a push button start, remote keyless illuminated entry, a rearview camera, two front USB-C inputs, Bluetooth, a six-speaker sound system, and an electronic parking brake.

While the base 2.5 S models are lower in cost than previous years, they lack one feature that is standard across the rest of the Mazda 3 lineup. The other models include Amazon Alexa Built-in, which provides the option to change temperature or radio station with voice commands.

Additionally, the other trim models feature a Mazda Online Navigation System that can download software updates over the air. This system requires a subscription to Mazda Connected Services. Each model comes with a three-year trial before annual fees kick in.

The base 2.5 models come standard with a naturally-aspirated Skyactiv-G 2.5-liter engine that produces 191 horsepower and 186 lb-ft of torque.

The top-of-the-line Turbo models in the lineup feature a powertrain delivering additional power. The Skyactiv-G 2.5 Turbo engine delivers 250 horsepower and 320 lb-ft of torque when using premium 93-octane fuel. It delivers 227 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque on regular 87-octane fuel.
