INKAS Armored has released a special-edition Toyota Land Cruiser 250 built for those needing extra protection. The company built this SUV to withstand high-powered rifle fire, as well as explosions.

According to a press release, the INKAS Armored Land Cruiser 250 has multi-layer ballistic glass in the side windows and windshield. These provide protection without limiting views. It features a runflat system to keep the vehicle moving in the event of a tire puncture.

The ballistic, mission-tested armor can withstand rifle fire and explosions on the sides, floor, and roof. The “armor overlap system” encloses the doors and protects previously vulnerable areas.

An upgraded suspension and chassis compensates for the additional weight and keeps the Land Cruiser 250 off-road capable.

“The return of the Toyota Land Cruiser is something enthusiasts and security-conscious individuals have been eagerly awaiting, and we’re thrilled to offer it in an armored configuration that amplifies its already robust design,” said Arthur Yurovitsky, Vice President at INKAS Armored.

Consumers needing a bulletproof Land Cruiser 250 can contact INKAS Armored for customization options and pricing. The SUV is available for order now from the Toronto-based company, which has built armored vehicles since 2000.

While INKAS Armored provides the protection required by high-profile clients, Toyota provides the foundation for the SUV.

First introduced in the United States in 1958, the Land Cruiser 250 returned in 2024 to serve as an accessible off-roader.

The 2025 model, starting at $56,450, features a turbocharged i-FORCE MAX hybrid powertrain delivering 326 horsepower and 465 lb-ft. of torque.

The Land Cruiser 250 has center and rear locking differentials as standard equipment. This can aid in traction as the rear differential splits the power 50/50 to the rear wheels. The Land Cruiser also has a front stabilizer bar disconnect mechanism (SDM) to help front tires stay on the ground on rough terrain.

Off-roading is the focus of the Toyota Land Cruiser 250, something the automaker made possible with multiple drive modes. The SUV has settings for Mud, Dirt, and Sand. It has a Crawl Control mode that serves as a low-speed, off-road cruise control.
