The Saratoga Automobile Museum is set to celebrate an iconic car company during its annual Gala.

According to a press release, the Saratoga Automobile Museum’s Triple Crown Gala will take place on July 26, 2024. This event will feature a dinner, silent auction, music, gaming tables, and a book signing.

The main draw of the event will be a panel focusing on Ferrari. This panel discussion will include a group of people with extensive knowledge about the brand and its founder, Enzo Ferrari.

  • Pam Yates: Author and executive producer of the Michael Mann film, “Ferrari.”
  • Derek Hill: A professional racing driver, stunt driver, and actor. He was the stunt driver for “Ferrari” and he portrayed Jean Behra in the film.
  • Joe Colasacco: A renowned Ferrari expert, historian, and racing driver.
  • Luigi Chinetti Jr.: The son of racing driver Luigi Chinetti, who once was the exclusive importer of Ferrari automobiles to the United States. Luigi Sr. also founded the Ferrari North American Racing Team.

“We are thrilled to host an event that not only honors the incredible legacy of Ferrari but also supports the museum’s mission to educate and inspire future generations,” said Megan Hennessey, Executive Director of the Saratoga Automobile Museum, in a press release.

“The Gala is our premier fundraising event, and this year’s celebration is set to be the most memorable yet.”

The Saratoga Automobile Museum will display several classic cars

This panel follows the announcement of a feature exhibition highlighting an iconic brand and its founder — “Enzo Ferrari: An Obsession with Speed.” This exhibition includes rare photographs and artifacts from Enzo Ferrari’s life.

This exhibition, which runs until October, also features several classic cars from the company’s history. The list includes the following cars.
