A TikTok user has filmed a video claiming he found a major flaw in the design of the Cybertruck, specifically, the front end.
The user posted a video that showed his Cybertruck — featuring a Cybatwuk license plate — covered in snow. He pointed out that the headlights were blocked by snow that accumulated on the front bumper.
“Now I can’t imagine that Tesla just didn’t think about this when they put this giant shelf in front of the lights,” user Joe Fay said. “But if they did, it’s honestly just an awful design.”
Interestingly enough, Fay immediately said that the “major flaw” had not been an issue for him thus far. He said the Cybertruck “has done pretty well so far” and that he hasn’t noticed that the headlights have been clogged up with snow.
Fay posted another video that provided more updates about this “flaw” in the Cybertruck design. He said that he had driven a couple of miles in the falling snow and that he had seen some buildup. However, the headlights continued to shine through the snow on the bumper.
Fay indicated that snow tended to accumulate when the Tesla sat motionless.
“So far, in the couple of days that I’ve been driving this vehicle in this heavy blizzard, there’s been no issues at all,” he said.
Fay’s videos have showcased multiple sides of Tesla ownership. One video highlighted the potential design flaw with the front bumper/shelf. Another video said that the Cybertruck is “one of the best vehicles to own in snowy climates.”
In essence, this is a fitting example of how people view the Cybertruck. Some adore the electric trucks and show this while driving around. Many choose to customize their electric trucks.
Other people strongly dislike the Cybertruck and make it known with social media posts. They point out every flaw and horror story while comparing it to other vehicles.
