Sammy Hagar just set a record at a Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona.

According to the auction house, the rocker sold his 2015 Ferrari LaFerrari for a jaw-dropping $4,675,000.00. This set a world auction record, topping the previous best of $3,910,000. The previous auction record was also for a 2015 Ferrari LaFerrari.

What makes the Red Rocker’s car unique? Ferrari designed and built the LaFerrari specifically for Hagar. The car has 1,566 actual miles and it features a cream exterior and cream interior. Carbon fiber and black accents break up the color scheme.

The LaFerrari has a 6.3-liter V12 engine that pairs with an electric motor to produce 949 combined horsepower and 664 lb.-ft. of torque. Additionally, this supercar includes an F1-developed Kinetic Energy Recovery System that provides extra bursts of energy.

According to Barrett-Jackson, the winning bidder also walked away with additional items. They received a replica model of the LaFerrari, which Ferrari originally gave to Hagar. The winning bidder also received a display plaque and a book detailing the build process.

As a bonus, Hagar invited the winning bidder to his Cabo Wabo Cantina in Mexico. The winning bidder received the opportunity to take part in Hagar’s birthday celebration and watch a special concert.

Hagar’s Ferrari was not the only vehicle that drew attention at the Barrett-Jackson auction, which featured other celebrity guests. A four-speed manual 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 sold for $462,000.

A custom, 900-horsepower 1965 Chevrolet C10 sold for $330,000. Known as the “C10 Slayer,” this pickup has six wheels and two custom racing rear-end housings.

The C10 Slayer also features a full hydraulic coilover shock suspension system that lifts the pickup from the ground to a 5-inch ride height.
