After all these years, The Addams Family still remains creepy and kooky with their many adventures remembered by their fans. This show aired on ABC between 1964-66 and has been in reruns for a long, long time. John Astin and Carolyn Jones star as Gomez and Morticia Addams, a very loving couple who enjoy each other’s company.

Jackie Coogan is along as Uncle Fester, a strange-looking bald man who can light up a room with his light bulb. Ted Cassidy plays Lurch, the family butler and housekeeper. Yeah, he’s standing tall over every family member. Lisa Loring and Ken Weatherwax play Wednesday and Pugsley, the Addams’ precocious children. Blossom Rock stars as Grandmama, who can freak out anyone.

Morticia’s Romance, Part 1

Viewers are invited to help celebrate the 13th wedding anniversary of Gomez and Morticia. But there’s a little storytelling going on as they share the story of how they met in this Season 2 episode of The Addams Family. At first, Gomez was pushed toward Ophelia by Grandmama and Granny Frump, played by Margaret Hamilton. Gomez really didn’t have “it” for Ophelia. He was more interested in Morticia.

Christmas with the Addams Family

Leave it to a neighbor to spoil the kids’ Christmas. Apparently, Mr. Thompson decided he was going to be the man who tells Wednesday and Pugsley that there’s no Santa Claus. The family, though, has better ideas. They get Uncle Fester to play Santa Claus, but he gets stuck in the chimney in this Season 2 episode of The Addams Family.

This leads the other family members to dress up like Old St. Nick to prove to the children that Santa does exist.

Morticia’s Romance, Part 2

When a thunderstorm hits, it leads Pugsley and Wednesday to want the finish of how Morticia and Gomez met. In this second part of the story, we’ll see Gomez get pushed, prodded, or pulled down the aisle by Morticia’s Uncle Fester. Gomez also faces the possible wrath of Ophelia, who has been known to judo-toss men around a room.

Halloween with the Addams Family

Well, a couple of stick-up guys find themselves at the Addams house. Gomez invites them in and they decide to stay a bit. Claude and Marty get excited about seeing Gomez’s desk filled with money. Instead of running, they hang around but Thing is on to their plans. Don Rickles guest stars in this first-season episode.

Lurch Learns to Dance

Our man Lurch is going to The Butlers’ Ball…or is he? There’s a hiccup in the mix. See, Lurch cannot dance. But Morticia is coming to the rescue, telling him that he has to go. A dance teacher is hired, but that backfires badly in this Season 1 episode. Well, that leaves the dancing lessons in the family’s hands. Look out world.
