Nearly 30 years after it came to an end, Full House continues to be the “go-to” for late 80s/early 90s nostalgia. The big question is – where to watch the long-running sitcom?
Thankfully for the nostalgic crowd, Full House is available through streaming services! Fans are able to get the hilarious Woodchuck puns, excessive hugging, and heartwarming Danny Tanner advice fix on Amazon as well as Max.
All nine seasons of Full House are available to purchase through Amazon for $1.99 (SD) or $2.99 (HD) per episode. Additionally, all of the seasons are available with a Max subscription. The price for Max starts at $9.99 a month with ads; ad-free is $15.99 a month. |
For those who don’t know, Full House was about a father and news anchor, Danny Tanner (played by Bob Saget), and his approach to raising his three young daughters after his wife tragically died in a car accident. Thankfully for Tanner, his brother-in-law Jesse (John Stamos) and best friend Joey (Dave Coulier) move in to help him. The show premiered in 1987 and ran for nine seasons before officially coming to an end in 1995. Starring in the series along with Coulier, Saget, and Stamos included Jodie Sweetin, Candace Cameron Bure, MaryKate and Ashley Olsen.
20 years after the show went off the air, the spin-off Fuller House made its debut on Netflix. Cameron Bure, Sweetin, and Andrea Barber (who played the hilarious neighbor Kimmy Gibbler) starred in the series with Stamos, Coulier, and Sagat making special appearances throughout the series. MaryKate and Ashley Olsen, known as Michelle Tanner, did not appear at all on the show. It wrapped in 2020.
Fellow ‘Full House’ Stars Congratulate Ashley Olsen on Welcoming Her First Child
In late August, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber took to their Full House recap podcast How Rude, Tanneritos to congratulate their former castmate Ashley Olsen on welcoming her first child, baby boy Otto.
“I just heard this morning that Ashley Olsen had a baby!” Barber declared during the podcast episode, per EW. “That blows my mind.”
Sweetin went on to declare, “The baby had a baby! I’m sorry, I know she’s not a baby. She’s a 37-year-old woman, I realize that. But it’s like when the youngest member of your family has a kid. It’s like, ‘Ah, it’s happening!’”
Although she knows how private Olsen is, Sweetin couldn’t help but be publicly excited for her Full House little sister. “I’m sure they do, but I want to wish them well and congratulations! Welcome to motherhood!”
Barber then added, “The Full House family is so happy for them.”
