‘Friends’: The 5 Best Episodes According to IMDb | Do You Agree?

For 10 seasons, Friends entertained millions with the hijinx of six close friends who share their lives while living in Manhattan.

The series’ last year on NBC was in 2004, but it’s found life thanks to the world of streaming. Friends, though, was back in the spotlight in the past couple of months…and not for a good reason. Matthew Perry, who played Chandler Bing on the show, died.

His death, though, allowed his castmates to share their feelings and emotions collectively and individually. Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and Perry worked well together during the sitcom’s run. It won six Primetime Emmy Awards and found itself among the top-rated television shows.

With all that being said, what are the top five episodes according to IMDb? Do you agree with these ratings? Let’s take a little tour through the world of Friends.

‘The One Where Everybody Finds Out’

In this Season 5 episode, Phoebe (Kudrow) happens to find out that Monica (Cox) and Chandler are seeing one another. But they are not talking. So, to stir the pot (so to speak), Phoebe and Rachel (Aniston) push the pair to come clean about their relationship. Trouble brews when Monica and Chandler happen to find out what’s going down between those two. In the meantime, Ugly Naked Guy is moving on out. Ross (Schwimmer) hustles to get that apartment, but it’s not going to be that easy for him.

‘The Last One’

In this very busy Season 10 episode, two people – Ross and Phoebe – race off to the airport in the hopes of stopping Rachel from going to Paris. Ross just slept with Rachel one more time and discovers that he still loves her. Erica (Anna Faris) has the baby that Monica and Chandler will be adopting. But those two are also busy packing up before their big move to a new home. Joey (LeBlanc) ends up purchasing a new chick and duck for Chandler as a leaving present.

‘The One with the Embryos’

For this Season 4 episode, Phoebe has given the OK to allow her uterus to be used. She will be artificially inseminated with the children of her brother Frank (Giovanni Ribisi) and his older wife Alice (Debra Jo Rupp). On the other side, a contest of sorts breaks out between Monica and Rachel against Chandler and Joey. The goal here is to have the guys guess what items are in the girls’ shopping bags. Ross comes up with the questions. Monica accepts the contest but decides to up the ante on the stakes of the game.

‘The One with the Prom Video’

In this Season 2 episode, Monica runs into financial trouble as she’s unable to find a job. In addition, she’s finding it tough to tell her parents that she does not have a gig right now. Ross, though, talks with her and gets her to say that she’ll chat with her parents about a loan. Joey ends up purchasing a gold friendship bracelet for Chandler. It’s rather special-looking, though. Then Joey hears Chandler yapping about it when talking to Phoebe. Everyone gathers together to watch a video from Rachel and Monica’s prom. When watching it, Ross’s feelings about Rachel come out.

‘The One with the Rumor’

In this Season 8 episode, Brad Pitt makes a guest-starring appearance. He plays Will, who happens to be an old school friend of Monica’s and Ross’s. Monica invites him over for Thanksgiving dinner. But Monica is unaware of Will’s hatred for Rachel. He remembers all too well that Rachel treated him rudely. Upon seeing Rachel, Will tells her that there was an “I-hate-Rachel-Greene-Club” back then. And to top all that off, Will and Ross were the club members. Phoebe then decides to join the club herself. Why? She’s never been a part of a club.
