Taylor Swift Chugs Beer on Jumbotron at Super Bowl LVIII, Internet Goes Wild

Taylor Swift is taking a page out of Jason Kelce’s playbook, chugging beer while watching beau Travis Kelce play in the Super Bowl. During the second quarter of Super Bowl LVIII, Swift was featured on the Jumbotron at Allegiant Stadium, along with other celebrities attending the game.

Like any red-blooded football fan, Swift had a brew in her paw. When she noticed she was on the Super Bowl Jumbotron, Taylor Swift decided to chug the beer.

Some Swifites were left clutching their pearls over the 34-year-old Taylor Swift drinking beer at the Super Bowl. “My daughter was watching and now she can’t stop crying. Taylor was her idol,” one watcher wrote. “Even celebrities with hella money need alcohol to have fun. Really sad situation,” another fan bemoaned. “Oh ya what a real roll [sic] model, How to Chug beer on live TV,” another heartbroken Swiftie wrote.

NFL Fans Flooded Social Media with Hot Takes Over Taylor Swift Drinking Beer

Other NFL fans joked that perhaps Swift was shaking off her beau’s bad blood. Not long before the chugging moment, Travis Kelce charged coach Andy Reid for taking him out of the game. “Keep it classy Chief’s fans,” one X user teased.

“And her boyfriend has an anger issue… is everything okay at home?” another X user quipped. “Nice – NFL highlights Taylor getting wasted and Travis with anger management issues,” an NFL watcher noted.

Finally, one NFL joked that Taylor Swift’s beer-guzzling might be the best the Chiefs will muster at the big game. “Will be the highlight of the Chiefs night,” they joked.

Swift arrived in Las Vegas with ample time to spare for Super Bowl LVIII, having returned from her concert in Japan. She eagerly anticipated witnessing the Kansas City Chiefs, led by Travis Kelce, strive for their third Super Bowl victory in just five years. Accompanied by fellow attendees, actress Blake Lively and rapper Ice Spice, Swift enjoyed the game from a suite.

The pop queen has already attended 12 of Kelce’s games this season, often seen in the suite alongside his mother, Donna Kelce, and his brother, Jason Kelce, the center for the Philadelphia Eagles. Following the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory in the AFC Championship against the Baltimore Ravens, Swift celebrated on the field and might return for further celebrations if Kansas City emerges triumphant.
