How to Watch Super Bowl LVIII Live From Bikini Bottom on Nickelodeon

When it’s time for Super Bowl LVIII this year, people of all ages will be able to watch it on Nickelodeon. It will take place in Bikini Bottom. If you are not familiar with Bikini Bottom, then you might want to know it’s the home of SpongeBob Squarepants.

That’s right, deep in the ocean is where he, Patrick Star, and their friends hang out.

Nickelodeon is putting Bikini Bottom and Super Bowl LVIII together for a big splash. This will be fun for the whole family. What’s going to happen here? Tune in to Nickelodeon on Sunday, February 11. As you all watch the NFL game play out before your eyes, the kids’ network will be busy, too.

Characters like SpongeBob, Patrick, and Sandy Cheeks will get involved with the broadcast, ET Online reports. There will be other animated friends to frolic around the Allegiant Stadium field. This year’s game is being played in Las Vegas. It’s the first time Sin City has hosted the game.

Nickelodeon Sets Up Its Super Bowl Broadcast

Set your watches for 6:30 p.m. Eastern on Feb. 11. That’s the time the NFL has scheduled for the game’s kickoff. Yet the Nickelodeon broadcast will involve the bottom of the sea, right smack dab in Bikini Bottom.

A lot of people probably have cable television and get Nickelodeon with their cable packages. All you have to do is to go find Nickelodeon on Super Bowl Sunday. Now, for other people who don’t have the network, there are options for you.

Streaming networks Hulu + Live TV, Fubo TV, and Philo have plans that include Nickelodeon. Fubo TV and Philo offer a seven-day trial period in there. So, you could sign up for either one, see the game, then cancel your subscription if you choose to do so. This ends up being a free option for you, something Mr. Krabs might do at Bikini Bottom.

No final decision has been reached on who will be in Super Bowl LVIII. This Sunday, though, will be Championship Sunday as the National Football League playoffs are down to their final four teams. In the AFC, the Kansas City Chiefs will travel to play the Baltimore Ravens at 3 p.m. Eastern. In the NFC, the Detroit Lions take off for a showdown against the San Francisco 49ers at 6:30 p.m. Eastern. The winners of these games move on to play in Las Vegas.

CBS, NFL Have Teamed Up For Telecasts

NFL on Nickelodeon has been a partnership between the league and CBS. While the CBS network shows a football game with one set of announcers, another group handles duties on Nickelodeon. If that pattern holds, then people who want to see the CBS game will hear Jim Nantz and Tony Romo. Nickelodeon will have Noah Eagle and Nate Burleson call the game, but look for SpongeBob and Patrick to help out as well.

Baltimore’s Lamar Jackson, Kansas City’s Patrick Mahomes, Detroit’s Jared Goff, and San Francisco’s Brock Purdy lead their teams. It should be an exciting Super Bowl this year. Only two teams can get into the NFL’s title game.
