Suzanne Somers’ Widower Claims ‘Odd Things’ Have Happened at Their Home Since Her Death

Alan Hamel, who is the husband of late Three’s Company star Suzanne Somers, is talking about some weird occurrences. Hamel and Somers were married for almost five decades. Somers died after a multi-year battle with cancer. Since her death, Hamel has been watching some unique happenings in and around him.

“Three things happened. The same day, that were very strange,” Hamel said in an interview with Page Six. He said that “a hummingbird flew into our house and made the rounds in the kitchen, and the living room and the dining room.”

Hamel said the hummingbird “hovered” in front of a picture showing Hamel and Somers in a breakfast nook. He said that the bird “landed on top and stayed there.” For proof, Hamel said that he took a picture of the bird.

Then, Hamel said that “the fireplace started all by itself.” And then, he said, “some music came on by Suzanne’s favorite composer.” The musician is someone that no one else has heard of at all.

Hamel said that when he’s falling asleep, “I feel her laying beside me.”

Alan Hamels ‘Convinced’ Of Afterlife With Suzanne Somers

With all of these things happening in his life, it has led Hamel to become a believer in an afterlife. His explanation revolves around these incidents that have happened in his life. “I’m convinced of it… I think there’s something we don’t understand,” he said.

“I think there’s a plane somewhere… after we discard our bodies,” Hamel said. “We still have our soul. I think our soul is energy. The soul must go somewhere and do something.”

This all might sound strange and weird to some people. Hamel, though, has one group backing up what he has been talking about. Somers’ grandkids have Hamel’s back. “Her grandkids, one by one, have told me the same thing,” he said.

“I hope it’s all true,” Hamel said. “It certainly makes the grieving process a lot easier. If it is, we’ll be reunited.”

When Somers was alive, she and Hamel would talk about the afterlife question. “We joked about it. Before she was sick. Before the last chapter,” Hamel said. “We joked about when one of us passed, it would likely be me because I’m 10 years older.”

Alan Hamels Provided Late Wife With Advice

Hamel helped Somers throughout her career. After being let go from the sitcom, Somers went through a period of reinventing herself. Her “Thighmaster” infomercials proved popular and prosperous.

Somers also developed a Las Vegas act where she sang and danced her way through it. She also became a best-selling author, too. Her celebrity life could have been over with Three’s Company, but Somers made it so much more.

For now, Hamel has these different signs and wonders happening in his life. What he makes of them is up to Hamel. Maybe he finds great comfort in observing them as signs of a connection with Somers.
