O.J. Simpson Reportedly Diagnosed With Cancer, Undergoing Chemotherapy

O.J. Simpson is allegedly battling cancer and is currently undergoing chemotherapy. Despite not directly confirming the diagnosis, the scorned ex-football star says he’s doing well.

News 10 in South Florida reported that Simpson, 76, is suffering from prostate cancer and is getting treatment in Las Vegas, where he lives. How long he’s had the disease is unclear.

According to an X post, rumors that O.J. Simpson is in hospice care have been circulating. On Feb. 9, Simpson personally took to the platform to discredit them.

“Hey, X world,” he began. “Hospice? Hospice?! You talking ’bout hospice?”

“No, I’m not in any hospice,” he laughed. “I don’t know who put that out there, but whoever put that out there, I guess is like the Donald saying, ‘Can’t trust the media.’ In any event, I’m hosting a ton of friends for the Super Bowl here in Las Vegas. All is well! So, hey, guys, take care. Have a good Super Bowl weekend.”

O.J. Simpson recorded the video while sitting in his car, and looked to be driving around town, which further proves he’s not ill enough for hospice.

O.J. Simpson Admitted to Having Cancer in May 2023

The former 49ers running back has not directly shared his health issues, but he did nonchalantly talk about how he “caught cancer” in “recent years” during a long X post from May 2023.

In that post, Simpson admitted that he’d gone through chemotherapy and also relied on marijuana to help with his appetite. However, he insinuated that he had gone into remission. So whether or not the cancer returned or if he is suffering from a different form is unknown.
