Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is Lovin’ Japanese McDonald’s

Mark Zuckerberg enjoyed some fast food nosh at a McDonald’s in Japan, declaring it a Michelin-star dining experience. The CEO of Meta is currently touring Asia and is also taking a personal trip to Japan with his family, which includes a few business meetings.

On Tuesday, Mark Zuckerberg shared photos on Instagram of his visit to a McDonald’s in Japan. The initial image captures Zuckerberg donning Meta’s smart sunglasses and a sheepskin jacket while seated at a table inside the restaurant.

His feast looked like a combo of fries, chicken McNuggets, three burgers, and a duo of drinks. He shared the moment with his wife, Priscilla Chan, striking a pose in front of the McDonald’s joint in a black coat.

“Japanese McDonald’s: 10/10. Give these guys a Michelin star,” Zuckerberg wrote alongside the carousel of images. Of course, earning a Michelin star rating is among the highest accolades a restaurant can receive.

Mark Zuckerberg Details His Japanese McDonald’s Dining Experience

In the comments, Zuckerberg elaborated on his favorite McDonald’s dishes he chowed down on in Japan. “Ebi burger (so good 10/10), Double burger with egg (it’s a banger 10/10), Teriyaki McChicken (8/10), local McNuggets (great texture 10/10), Churros for dessert (8/10). Strong showing overall,” the culinary expert wrote.

Zuckerberg, who is reportedly worth over $170 billion, seemed to impress followers with his fast-food dining experience. “All the money in the world and that’s how you eat,” one Instagram user commented under the post. “Eat McDonald like Zuck and your day will be better,” another wrote. “I have to agree on the michelin star! epic bro!”, another McDonald’s lover wrote.

However, not everyone was impressed with the famously socially awkward billionaire’s attempt at seeming down to earth. “Nice try, I know you’re still not human,” a user quipped.

During his time in Japan, he also participated in a lesson with a Japanese sword master named Akihira Kokaji, learning the art of sword-making. His Instagram posts showed crafting the sword and his demo of wielding it.

Zuckerberg held meetings with Facebook developers on Monday and Tuesday to delve into discussions regarding the large language model Llama and the Quest virtual reality headsets, as reported by Bloomberg.

He will be traveling to Seoul, South Korea on Wednesday to meet partners and possibly South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol, according to Bloomberg. Following his visit to Seoul, Zuckerberg is set to travel to India to partake in the pre-wedding festivities of Mukesh Ambani’s youngest son, a billionaire.
