Keanu Reeves’ Home Allegedly Targeted by Masked Burglars

Keanu Reeves’ home was allegedly targeted by burglars in ski masks, smashing windows and entering the house. According to TMZ, law enforcement sources have reported that individuals wearing ski masks broke into the actor’s residence and fled before the arrival of the officers. Allegedly, the burglary took place on Wednesday evening in Los Angeles.

The LAPD responded to an anonymous call regarding a possible trespasser on Reeves’ property around 7 PM. Upon arrival, the police conducted a thorough search of the area but found no one present. According to reports, the police returned to the scene around 1 AM after an alarm was triggered on the property. This time, security cameras captured the presence of several burglars wearing ski masks who were seen smashing a window and gaining entry into the house.

Reportedly, the perpetrators seized a firearm from the residence before their hasty departure. It remains uncertain whether any additional items were pilfered. However, it is worth noting that Keanu Reeves was absent during the incident.

Detectives are meticulously reviewing videos captured within and around the residence in search of additional clues. It has been reported that they are particularly focused on investigating whether the initial call to the police was placed by an individual who was surveying the premises.

Regrettably, Keanu’s residence has previously been targeted in similar incidents. There were two consecutive intrusions by burglars in 2014. Additionally, he obtained a temporary restraining order against an alleged stalker who, he claims, appeared at his home earlier this year.

Keanu Reeves is Currently Touring with His Band, Dogstar

In happier news, Keanu’s alternative rock band Dogstar, featuring Robert Mailhouse and Bret Domrose, recently reunited after 20 years at Napa Valley’s BottleRock festival. They are now on their first headlining tour since making their comeback. The “Somewhere Between the Power Lines and Palm Trees Tour” started in late summer and ran until December. It concludes with a final show in Nashville on December 20th.

Reeves contributes to the band as the bassist and provides backing vocals. Meanwhile, Mailhouse handles the drums and Domrose is on the guitar.

The band made their debut in 1996 with the release of their first EP, Quattro Formaggi. They followed up with two albums: Our Little Visionary in 1996 and Happy Ending in 2000. Additionally, in 2004, they treated fans to a special cover of Mr. Big’s “Shine”. Dogstar has shared the stage with music legends like David Bowie and headlined shows with acclaimed bands like Weezer.
