Fans on the social media website X (formerly Twitter) sent out their well wishes to Ellingson’s family. Ellingson had been removed from Hollywood for 10 years and had struggled with drug addiction for some time.
Other fans noted that Ellingson had already lost a brother to addiction in 2009. In the same year, Ellingson became a father to his daughter, Brooklynn. He reportedly had been doing a lot better recently and his death came as a complete shock to both his family and fans.
