Evan Ellingson, best known for his work on My Sister’s Keeper and CSI: Miami, has passed away. He was reportedly found dead in San Bernardino County at the age of 35.
Michael Ellingson, Evan’s father, passed along more details about Ellingson’s death to TMZ. He said that Evan was found dead at a sober-living home. Officials are indicating that there’s no foul play involved at this time.
Ellingson was best remembered for playing Cameron Diaz’s teenage son in My Sister’s Keeper back in 2009. He also appeared in 18 episodes of CSI: Miami as Kyle Larson, as well as 10 episodes of the TV series 24.
Once news of Ellingson’s passing broke, fans online quickly started sharing their reactions to the news and well wishes for his family.

Fans on the social media website X (formerly Twitter) sent out their well wishes to Ellingson’s family. Ellingson had been removed from Hollywood for 10 years and had struggled with drug addiction for some time.

Other fans noted that Ellingson had already lost a brother to addiction in 2009. In the same year, Ellingson became a father to his daughter, Brooklynn. He reportedly had been doing a lot better recently and his death came as a complete shock to both his family and fans.
