‘Full House’ Star Candace Cameron Bure Reveals How She Helped Navigate Daughter’s Acting Career

After more than 40 years in the entertainment industry, Full House star Candace Cameron Bure says she’s ready to help her daughter, Natasha, with her own acting career.

While speaking to Fox News Digital recently, Cameron Bure spoke about how her daughter is starring in the upcoming Great American Family film A Christmas for the Ages. The long-time actress said Natasha has been singing and acting her whole life.

“You know, there’s so many videos that I have on my computer,” Candace Cameron Bure explained. “When they would just go in and go to the photo booth on there when she was 7 years old, and she’d pretend like she had her own talk show and all kinds of things like that.

Cameron Bure also shared that Natasha started catching the “acting bug” between the ages of 12 and 14. “She was like, ‘This is what I want to do,’’ Cameron Bure recalled. “So I’m like, ‘Great. I’ve been down this path. I can help guide you.’”

Although she first entered the entertainment industry as a child actor, Cameron Bure has grown to enjoy every part of the production process. This includes producing. “I absolutely love producing. I’ve produced more than 30 films. I think people don’t quite realize that. So when I get to only have my producer hat on and not my actor’s hat, it is so enjoyable for me.”

Candace Cameron Bure Says Seeing Her Daughter’s Face on Screen Is ‘Incredible’

Meanwhile, Candace Cameron Bure couldn’t help but gush about her daughter’s acting. She is also an executive producer for Natasha’s upcoming Christmas film.

“To see my daughter’s face on screen is incredible,” Cameron Bure declared. “And because she’s so good, it’s like … I also know her intimately. So there are nuances. I’m like, ‘Give me this, give me that.’”

Candace Cameron Bure went on to say what she loves about working with Natasha. “There’s like a short speech and it’s really wonderful. Sometimes I jump in like the director and I, you know, I get ahead of myself. But anyway, it’s just a joy for me.”

Along with speaking about her daughter’s acting career, Candace Cameron Bure reflected on what she’s truly grateful for this holiday season. “Gratitude has been so important to me and really changed my day-to-day life,” she explained. “Waking up and being grateful for where I am in the present. But then consciously thinking of things throughout the day that I’m grateful for.”
