It is marked by the signing of an armistice agreement between the Allies and Germany. Fighting ceased at the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month. Veterans Day honors all military personnel, past and present.
According to CNN, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, JPMorgan Chase, and TD Bank will be closed. Citibank will also be closed on Saturday, with timings varying by location. Customers can check online for specific details. As always, customers can use ATMs or online banking services for convenience.
On Saturday, UPS will continue its operations without any disruptions. However, FedEx will be closing FedEx Ground, FedEx Ground Economy, and FedEx Freight on Saturday. Rest assured, all other services will remain open.
