Eminem has finally unleashed his mom’s spaghetti for the masses. The Slim Shady rapper dropped a new line of pasta sauces on Thursday. Mr. Mathers announced the culinary delight on Instagram.

Eminem shared a video capturing the moment a jar descended from the sky, shattering upon impact near a takeout container brimming with spaghetti. “From the D 2 ur kitchen  #momsspaghetti sauce is droppin 10/26 Link in bio,” the 8 Mile star wrote alongside the video.

However, Eminem’s Instagram followers were somewhat let down by his recent “release.” They had anticipated the announcement of new music. It’s worth noting that Eminem’s most recent album, titled Music To Be Murdered By, came out in 2020. “DROP THE ALBUMMMMMMM,” said one fan commented under the post.

Music To Be Murdered By, his eleventh studio album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, selling 279,000 album-equivalent units in its first week. It was his ninth consecutive solo album to top the chart.

Mom’s Spaghetti Launched in 2017

In 2017, Eminem launched a restaurant called Mom’s Spaghetti, named after a line from his 2002 song “Lose Yourself.” Initially a pop-up shop, it has now established a permanent location across from Detroit’s Comerica Park in 2021.

When Mom’s Spaghetti first opened, Eminem revealed the origins of the cuisine fans were in store for. “In ‘Lose Yourself’ I was saying it from the perspective of Jimmy Smith Jr., the character I was playing in [8 Mile]. You make a spaghetti sandwich. It’s definitely some white trash[stuff]. I still eat it today.”

The Menu at Eminem’s Restaurant is… Predictable

At Eminem’s Detroit eatery, the menu is as straightforward as the rhymes he spits. It features Mom’s Spaghetti for $9, and Mom’s Spaghetti with Meatballs for $12. They also offer the delectable S’getti Sandwich for $11, and the option of “pop” or water for $3.

Eminem made a special appearance at the grand opening, posing with fans behind the restaurant’s walk-up window. In a show of generosity during the 2020 coronavirus crisis, he sent prepared spaghetti to frontline workers at Henry Ford and DMC hospitals, helping those in need.
