Cybertruck Torched Online After Getting Stuck in Snow, Towed Out by F-250

Elon Musk has eggnog on his face following footage hitting the web of his Cybertruck getting towed out of the snow by a Ford F-250. The clip, shared by Morning Brew, shows the high-tech truck (hauling a Christmas tree, no less) pulled to safety by the reliable Ford. “The holiday came early for Ford execs,” the outlet quipped alongside the video.

Of course, X (formerly Twitter) users quickly set in to drag the Cybertruck’s misfortune. “Ford immediately cuts f150 EV production by 50%.,” one X user joked. Another user decided to stay with what works after seeing the footage. “WOW. I’ll stick with my Honda Ridgeline thanks,” they quipped. “That’s a toy not a truck,” another X user noted.

However, other X users jumped to the defense of the cutting-edge vehicle. “Yeah, any vehicle would likely get stuck in a showy field,” one X user pointed out. “Pulling someone out from a cleared road is not exactly a show of superiority either.” Another Cybertruck fan thought the Ford truck would be just as likely to be in the same predicament. “That F-250 would’ve been equally stuck on that snowy hill without chains.”

The Cybertruck May Have Needed the F-250 to Get Out of Snow, But Not to Absorb Arrows

While the vehicle may not do well on snowy slopes, it’s certainly arrow-proof. Last month on the Joe Rogan Experience podcast, Rogan issued a challenge to guest Elon Musk. He proposed that he could pierce the exterior of the Cybertruck with a broadside arrow. This remark followed the Tesla CEO’s proud claim about the truck’s bulletproof capabilities.

Musk gladly took Rogan up on the bet. In a viral video, Joe Rogan decided to put the durability of the Tesla Cybertruck to the test. He shot an arrow at its robust stainless steel body, which left only a minor dent while destroying the arrowhead. Meanwhile, in the background, Elon Musk calmly savored a cigar before inspecting the vehicle. During the podcast, Musk emphasized the fact that the Cybertruck will feature steel panels that are resistant to bullets.

In 2019, Tesla unveiled the Cybertruck, a remarkable vehicle with impressive specifications. Boasting a range of 250-500 miles and an estimated 0 to 60 mph time of 2.9-6.5 seconds, it combines power and efficiency like no other. Crafted from rocket-grade stainless steel, this electric vehicle features a futuristic geometric design that sets it apart. According to the Tesla website, the Cybertruck offers superior utility compared to conventional trucks while delivering sports car-like performance.
