1964 Pontiac GTO

The 1964 Pontiac GTO was considered the pioneer in muscle cars in the 60s and 70s and was able to go from 0-60 in 6.6 seconds. The GTO also had a trap speed of 99 Miles Per Hour. "GTO" stood for Gran Turismo Omologato; this sleek sports car was the dream of many during the mid-60s.

1967 Shelby Cobra 427 Super Snake

The 1967 Shelby was considered the ultimate in muscle car perfection and was built with race car looks but modified for use on the street. This bad boy has a 427 cubic inch V8 engine and has a top horsepower of 800.

1968 Plymouth Road Runner Hemi

The Plymouth Road Runner Hemi was another car issued during the late 60s that had the speed that enthusiasts crave. With 425 horsepower and an incredible power train design, the Plymouth Road Runner is a muscle car that was built solely for performance. This car can go fast despite its rather pedestrian looks.

1969 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1

With 500 horsepower, there were only sixty-nine total 1969 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 made. Though few in number, these babies have got some power, topping out at a 5.3 mark in the 0-60 range.
